"Exceptional"

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. One staff member kindly offered to meet me at 6:45 am, long before her shift began, to send me off early with a packed breakfast! We enjoyed delicious meals and time in the pub. The room was attractive with historic beams, yet had been comfortably modernized.

The staff was very welcoming. It's a busy place (because it's also a deservably popular pub), but we never felt neglected. The breakfast was excellent. And the location could not be beat. Parking was pretty easy to find nearby.
