Love the BED and BATHROOM VERY GOOD SIZE ROOM

it's super hot weather and room doesn't have proper cooling arrangement except one small fan which don't don't much with global warming i suggest to have at least one big FAN OR AIR COOLER . As it was unbearable day /night . Also for vegetarian breakfast i suggest have one more option of HASH BROWN don't cost more to add that for vegetarian hot English breakfast just i had bake been on toast . those are my suggestions when people travel in these summer days they definite need these basic room facility not been to yours in winter so don 't know about heating arrangements in bath room and room for winter

"Noisy and no ventilation in heatwave"

3.0

Good central location. Friendly staff

Room onto main road, no ventilation in room at height of June heatwave. Tiny heater/fan incapable of moving air. No alternative available. Had to prop open bedroom door into corridor and open widow (with associated traffic noise) to get air through and reduce temperature a little. Wore headphones to get to sleep to block street noise

"Nice location but would not recommend or stop again."

The breakfast staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble.

The carpet in the bedroom was stained. It was exceptionally hot there was no net curtain to allow privacy when opening the window. A fan was supplied for the bedroom but it only blew out hot air. It was difficult to find any staff.

"As I have already said the stay was adequate as we were attending a wedding and other relatives were also staying in the"

5.0

The staff were very helpful and polite the main thing I liked about the property and the breakfast was quite good but the Continental breakfast would have been better with a choice of cereal’s rather than just porridge.

The rooms were adequate but were very hot and the windows were difficult to open being sash windows with glazing over the top. There was a fan provided but that was very noisy. The furniture was in keeping with the pub being an older one but the pillows were very soft on the bed ending up almost flat so I had to use a towel for extra height and the quilt very thick. I appreciate it was a hot weekend so perhaps a sheet may have been helpful to use instead of the quilt. Not sure about the plumbing in the bathroom but it was incredibly noisy when flushing the toilet and emptying the bath although I had a shower the bath filled up with water as it didn’t drain away fast enough. The stairs were also incredibly steep and I think this should be mentioned as I broke my femur last year and I am still recovering so found them very hard to get up so anyone with mobility issues would have a problem.
