Location, breakfast, room

Parking was tight, but ok and at night the noise from the bar below was very loud.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room & bathroom were fine and very quiet. Breakfast was very good, most efficiently organised to reduce waiting time. Sadly we had a family event elsewhere so we didn't have dinner.

It is a old characterful old building, tastefully modernised but that does mean that there are a lot of stairs.

Stairs to rooms very steep

Loved the location, close to the little bars,cafes etc in the village, within mins walking distance. The bar and restaurant are excellent and staff could not be more friendly and helpful. Booked one of the 3 bedrooms with a,spa bath, so relaxing ,extra large bedroom abd bathroom.we had such a lovely time we booked two weekends in a row.

Great location near some good local pubs. Excellent bistro style breakfast.

Room was very poor with bulbs in bathroom mirror out, ridiculously soft mattress. Very dated room with paint peeling around outside window. Bathroom style fluorescent light in bedroom. Felt like an emergency housing room. WiFi didn’t work. Light outside in corridor covered in spider webs. Shower head had 100 nozzles, only 10 worked. Shower glass needed replacing. Had to fix sink plug myself.

Het ontbijt was goed.

De kamer was goed. Douche zat met schimmel en is uit de tijd van Robin Hood, is nodig aan vervanging toe. Zou voor geen goud in het bad willen zitten.. Ook het vervangen van de handdoeken verloopt niet echt soepel de natte handdoeken waren gewoon terug gehangen, terwijl ze zoals opgegeven in het bad lagen voor verschoning.
