Greyhound Inn

The staff were lovely. All we’re genuinely friendly and welcoming.Breakfast was very good. A good choice and well cooked. We ate at the Greyhound every evening and enjoyed every meal. Our room was comfortable and had the added bonus of a separate sitting area (a separate room)with a large television. The bedroom also had a tv. The shower was good and there was plenty of hot water. The bed was large and comfortable.There was a little bit of a problem with the central heating but it was soon fixed.

I suppose the only negatives were that one or two of the fixtures and fittings could have done with being replaced. The towel rail in the bathroom needed replacing and the bedside lamp had seen better days. An extra bedside lamp would have also been useful. However, this was not enough to change the fact that we had a lovely stay at the Greyhound Inn and would certainly stay there again.

The grey hound Inn is well located a very good base to explore the surrounding beauty spots.On arrival we had a warm welcome from our host who offered us a free upgrade which was excellent. The breakfasts were also excellent as were the main meals.All in all we had a fantastic long weekend we would highly recommend.

The staff were really welcoming and made a wonderful surprise for my husband’s birthday. Food and service amazing. The room was spacious and comfortable in a good location for us. Would definitely book again.

Bathroom door wouldn’t shut without force, sticking at the bottom. Bedroom door handle came off in my son’s hand. Radio noise from either kitchens or restaurant below early on a Sunday morning. All really quick fixes.
