Room at the Inn

Whilst the location in Lyme Regis was spot on the experience wasn't. Frayed & holed towels, no ceiling light bulb, chair, sash-window & shower screen that needed repairing & a bed that squeaked with every movement.The attractive, light & airy deluxe double was occupied when we arrived & although the situation was resolved (prosecco & crisps a nice touch to compensate) I'm glad we stayed on a night when the kitchen (located on the same floor) was closed - the noise from the bar, ongoing past normal weekday licencing hours, enough to put up with.

Loved the quirky ness of the property, lovely white towels and bedding . Bed was comfortable friendly staff . No breakfast but plenty of lovely places to eat nearby

Great location. I received a very warm welcome from Ellie, and the room was gorgeous - very clean, nicely decorated, fresh milk in the fridge, books, even a rose on the table. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, and lovely toiletries in the bathroom. It felt as though a lot of care and thought had been put into it.

Just be aware that the room is above a pub and there's no soundproofing. I was awake until the early hours of the morning because of the noise from below and above - so if you book this beautiful room, be prepared, and make sure to bring earplugs! £100 is a lot to pay for very little sleep.

Great location and was a lovely room for a short stay.

Expected noise as knew the room was above the pub, but as it was next to the kitchen, there was added noise from here during the day and then overnight, there seemed to be noise from a boiler/electrical equipment. But overall, it was a lovely place to stay.
