The staff were very welcoming. The suite was a perfect blend of comfort and character. I also had the luck of being able to enjoy one of their special events - a solstice party complete with Morris dancers and wicker man. Perfect!

To keep this place secret I am tempted to say that it is rubbish. However that would be doing a huge disservice to the owners. It is one of the best pubs that I have stayed in. Accommodation brilliant, location for Newmarket races brilliant, beer brilliant, food brilliant, staff fantastic, locals out of this world. Can’t wait to go back!

Personally, the bed and pillows were a little soft for me but I know that someone else would have found them ideal. Minor compared to the huge positives of this beautiful pub.

Beautiful room, immaculately decorated, loads of character and spotlessly clean with everything you could need for a stay. The bed was really comfy, the breakfast box was lovely and the hosts were so welcoming. The pub itself is really nice too.

Nothing, I loved it and will definitely book again if I'm up that way.

Basically there is nothing to dislike it’s a wonderful place to eat lovely food, accommodation is great and the staff are so welcoming and friendly love it will be back.
