Rude check in, breakfast started at 8.30 on a working day

Cracking pub with nice rooms above it. Not only takes dogs but loves dogs.

The location was excellent and the rooms really nice and clean

There wasn’t availability to charge or store disability scooter and this should be pointed out on the site as this is important when customers suffer with minimum movement and rely on mobility scooters

been here 3/4 times over the years like the staff well looked after

the weather but they cant do anything about that

The breakfast was good, friendly staff. The bed was comfy & clean.

I booked a single room, but these tend to be stuck away in an odd corner. The room was small, the bathroom was nice but the shower needed sorting and a mirror above the electric socket in the bedroom would have been useful for using a hairdryer. The only mirror was in the bathroom.

Warm welcoming staff, spotlessly clean. Very comfortable room. We had dinner and breakfast. Both meals were wonderful.

As a Location The Watermill Inn is fabulous. The food is fabulous, and as a brewery the beers are wonderful. Staff are amazing - especially Harry, Lee and wonderful Alison. What's more truly the best if you are travelling with a dog. Ings is beautiful. Walks from Inn offer cross country or a lovely 'hard top' to Crook. Great location for getting around to Windermere, Bowness, Keswich & Kendal.

Room #3 was very small, nay tiny. Especially given i was travelling with a dog. Didnt like stairwell going across top of room too. No room for the chair so always had to use bedspace for everything. Had to move fan and put it in the bin so i could hand coat and large jumpers up. We booked / confirmed a double and got a very very very small single. Also, booked a table, arrived early - someone else had taken my table and given it to someone else despite booking card on table - and just left me to go find a place out back - no concerns when i queried. As a lone traveller sitting at back of restaurant alone with dog was not nice. I didnt even finish my drink - just ate my meal then went off to my broom cupboard to watch the telly at a 90 degree angle :0)

The breakfast was very nice with a very good choice would recommend

not a lot, could of had more biscuits in the room
