Helpful and friendly staff, great position in Goring which was a nice place to stay, interestingly (not meant ironically) decorated room.

Location, staff and food were great.

Bedroom floor was uneven and the fittings a bit tired looking. Stairs to first floor very steep, so may be unsuitable if you have difficulty with stairs.

Good room. Great to have a bath tub after walking.

Bath tub was great but no shower available to wash soap off. Breakfast was tastewise good but limited to a single dish. No cereal or toast from a buffet or so.

Everything except my bed

My bed, which was billed as a standard single but was actually a day bed with a narrow foam mattress too small for the frame.

The pub was welcoming, calm, warm with the log fire going and friendly, the room I was provided was just lovely, the bed was comfortable and plenty of space. I Mentioned a back issue while going up the stairs and Maya showed me to my room, I went down to return the breakfast card and Maya spoke to her manager and had my room moved which was so kind, she was friendly and set everything out, she asked relevant questions but made me feel valued. If I went back to customer service world I’d want to copy her and replicate exactly what I wanted. The breakfast was lovely great portion sizes and quality.

The tv in the room only seemed to work on radio, in the windows and considering it’s probably listed a few of the panes had cracks in but that didn’t take away from my experience.

Just the village it was in but the hotel is in bad state of repair

The room was not a superior room as advertised and the pictures on there web site it was nothing like it

Lovely big room, great location, nice atmosphere in the pub and friendly staff.

£20 for a small dog. No cushion or bowl provided. Constant noise in room - but not sure what. Extractor, pipes? Admittedly, may be due to old building. Overhead shower - pressure was good, but no separate hand-held, so difficult to rinse shower. Could have done with a shelf in the bathroom.
