Doen var med en gang man åpnet døren på rommet og dusjen til venstre med dårlig dusjforheng, så da måtte vi gå på do med sko på, for gulvet ble vått.

A great location especially if you are wanting to enjoy the area. Great walking both up and down the Thames Path and surrounding countryside . Lovely establishment with good food and friendly service.

Breakfast was very nice. Staff friendly enough. The food served in the pub was also very good. Room generally nice and had everything you needed really for a night.

The bed was very soft due to a mattress topper added on. When I looked under I could tell the actual mattress was not in great condition hence a topper was added on! Bath would not drain - seemed to be broken. Told the staff member at check out. No continental breakfast offering - you could only choose one item from a menu. I would've preferred some fruit, yogurt or cereal aswell. Despite ordering the breakfast the night before and specifying the time we would take it as they request you to do so, the breakfast took 25mins to arrive and there was no other buffet bits to choose from. I also put on the form that I'd quite like a bit of the granola, yogurt and local honey but this was ignored. I think to get a higher rating small requests such as this should be acted upon...

All staff are pleasant and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was lovely. We would definitely stay again. Excellent position for visiting Goring and Streatley.

A large bath

The door to the room had gaps all the way down on both sides and above the door. This allowed an exit light to shine through the whole night. It continually flashed on and off throughout the night. The bed was very low and not long enough, it only just fit my husband who is 5 ft 10. The basin hot tap in the bathroom was broken, so no hot water to wash your hands. The breakfast was only cooked, no offer of cereal or toast. I did not feel particularly welcome by staff.

The team here were all lovely, extremely helpful and took every care to make sure guests and customers felt comfortable and happy. They were friendly, welcoming and made you feel very at home.

The bath / shower facilities in the room were slightly tricky to get right, and caused some water leakage if shower curtain was not placed exactly right. This was all fine, just took some learning what to do! Also, the water had to run for quite a while before getting hot. The hot water in the sink never got hot, as I think there was an issue with the mixer tap. But this aside, the room was very comfortable, clean and quite!
