The Black Hole

Quirky! Comfortable and so clean. We were given a choice of ‘cells’ - Chose cell 10! Located at the top of 45 steps. Roll top bath, comfy bed and a Dyson cooler (it was a warm night!) Breakfast - excellent choice available. Coffee area open 24/7. Very well located for Winchester town centre. We parked at Chesil St. car park for £7.50 for 24 hours.

Quirky interesting place in a great position 5 minutes walk from the sights. Lovely breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful

Our room was quite hot and compact with little s storage space. No tes or coffee making facilities in the room, although there was downstairs.

A really nice place in a great location, decor was fun with prison doors on each room and convict pictures up the stairs. It was clean, the rooms had plenty of space and were comfortable with spotless bathrooms. It was only a short walk in to the city centre. Breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty. Would definitely stay again in the future. Also just down the road from the most amazing Japanese restaurant!

Rooms very nice, breakfast very nice and location very good.

Staff could have been a bit more tentative but this is just a slight issue.

The breakfast and location were both excellent

the only thing that wasn't perfect was the shower which persisted in running cold however long we waited. As the weather was warm it was actually quite refreshing but had it been cold this would have been disappointing.
