Staff were really friendly, breakfast was lovely, check out at 11am instead of the usual 10am, nice quiet location but still central enough to walk wherever I had to go, and a pub downstairs to top it all off!

Quite a lot of stairs to the room so perhaps not great for those with mobility issues.

"Bedroom and bathroom nice and clean however its a one time experience as wouldn't stay there again."

Breakfast was lovely - Fresh, hot and well cooked. Location was ideal for what i needed.

Bedroom was clean however i had room 212 which was the front of the building and with only having single glazed windows i heard every car, van and lorry driving past which kept me away until early hours of the morning. Asked for a pint glass for the room and was told NO.

Large, but cosy room with nice en-suite. Good breakfast, although on day 2 the chef was off sick so the cleaners made us toast and coffee. Friendly bar with good beer. Lovely staff. Some nice pubs close by.

The rooms are a little tired and need updating without losing their rustic charm. Needs double glazing to quieten down the road noise. But cannot complain for the price they charge.
