The Sheppey Inn

We loved the quiet rural location. We loved the eclectic feel of the pub. The room was lovely, very comfy. We had a balcony which was just beautiful. Breakfast is in the room, it was fresh & tasty

Nothing, we loved it all.

Location. Quirky decor. Lovely staff. Breakfast items provided in fridge in room. Dinner in pub.

Limited parking. Crockery in room was chipped. Mattress sank in the middle. Cobwebs in room. Hairs in shower. No housekeeping over the 2 day stay apart from replenishing breakfast items. One window did not open. The door leading to the balcony was hard to open. Thankfully there was a fan in the room. The external cladding on the room needs some attention. The balcony was directly above part of the external seating area of the pub which was just a bit too close for me.

Rooms very comfortable with great decoration. Staff extremely friendly with excellent service.

A great place to stay. Ben and Tamsin are great hosts, and the staff are very helpful and welcoming. We were very impressed with the restaurant. Great food! Highly recommended.

Location, decor, facilities

Fab gluten free food, nice friendly staff. Good size room with nice 'help yourself ' breakfast . Good location for Glastonbury etc.

Lovely big room with pleasant modern ascetics over looking a beautiful fields and a small river. We stayed in room 3 that had a by-folding door that open onto a balcony. Which I was glad of, mainly because it was quite hot. We enjoyed the breakfast that was left in the fridge comprising of creamy yogurt, mini Dorset muesli, bowl of mixed berries, with a pint of milk, orange juice. Two bottles of spring water & range of teas & coffee bags.

Only wished the pillows were not so solid, it wouldn’t put me off staying again, but I would bring my own next time.
