The owner Romel is so kind and so helpful! Great location, easy walking distance to the main sights and shops and restaurants in town.

Central location, friendly host

You are locked inside the property at night. Romel locks you in behind thick metal gates with a padlock to which only he has the key. Good luck getting out in the event of a fire. If you wake up early and want to go for a walk at sunrise you can’t, you’re locked inside until Romel lets you out. Romel misled me by telling me I could flick some latches on the door to get out, but he didn’t say he locked the exit to the building as well which we couldn’t pass. They could least use a combination lock and give guests the code. Hot water takes 15 mins to heat up because the host doesn’t want you leave it on to save energy, but only last 2-3 minutes at a trickle. Would be a bit painful for two people Heaters not included in the price of the room. It was cold at night. The electricity is turned off when you take the key, so you can’t charge cameras etc while you’re out

Lovely host who showed us around, helped with public transport etc. Good location in the city.

Pretty cold inside in spring (and a bit stuffy due to general coldness & humidity). Of course a general "geographical problem", but there were (semi well working) heaters for an extra charge.

Everything, very nice homestay. Romel and his wife are really nice, kind , helpful, taking the time to chat with us and give us a lot of help and interesting informations. The room and homemade Breakfast were amazing. I highly recommand it.

They had heater available and the host was very welcoming.

There were no windows so no sunlight and the place was extremely cold constantly. They had heaters but at a very costly rent. Breakfast was very basic

Great location a few steps from the clock tower and a short walk to the Mall Road and Observatory Hill. A nice family run operation. Our host Romel provided an abundance of information about what to do locally. He spoke excellent English and each morning at breakfast we had extensive discussion about the local economy and much more.

The place is very close to the mall road. The place is very clean. The owner is very friendly and always chit chat with you. So it's fun when you meet him.
