"Home away from home"

The stay was very pleasant. Mr Balaji and Mrs. Balaji as a host did us everything possible to take care of us. They coordinated with the cab services and drafted an excellent plan for our tour. At every stage of our stay, we were made comfortable. I recommend anyone looking to stay and explore kumbakonam to consider Kumbakonam Inn hotels. The personal attention provided by Mr. Balaji was really superb.

"Best Base Camp for Temple Tours"

Kumbakonam. City of Temples. And temples galore from Trichy to Chidambaram. Overwhelming. I chose the Kumbakonam Inn while planning our temple tour. We are an India born couple with a son born in the USA. Each unit in Kumbakonam Inn comprises a sitting area, kitchenette, large bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom has three very good beds, adequate for four people. Quiet, spacious, CLEAN and comfortable. We slept better here than in North American hotels. Outside the room is a tropical garden with parrots and song birds. The owner inn keeper, Mr Balaji, knows the temple belt like none other. His guidance was on the spot. He added deeper perspective when appropriate. How did he read our minds? Mr Balaji arranged a good driver for us and, each day, gave him the sequence of temples and places to eat. We had planned to stay 4 days. Extended it to 9. Have fond memories of temples, food and the hospitality of Mr and Mrs Balaji.

If HAVE to nitpick, you will not mistake the street outside to be Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Did bother me? Not in the least.
