I have stayed here several times before, but this was the first time alone (special family reason). It is always convivial and exceptionally friendly. I have stayed in both rooms of the accommodation, and they are always excellent. The pub is SO friendly, and I can definitely vouch for the excellence of the Full Welsh Breakfasts!

Super stay great food and great value

I liked the coziness of the room, it was set up in a way that makes you feel welcome. Everywhere was extremely tidy and throughout the entire stay other guests were not noisy. The breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious and the location of being next to the castle made it super easy to visit in the morning.

The food was amazing, and the owner was very friendly, all the staff were friendly. Lovely log burning fire in the bar made it cosy. It's ideally situated just across the road from Carew Castle. Lovely walk around the lake and the Castle.

There was nothing not to like

Lovely friendly helpful staff. Very convenient for the local area attractions. Private car park. Excellent homely atmosphere in the public bar.
