Carew Inn

We stayed for our 46th wedding anniversary and had a first class experience. The Food was arguably the best we have had anywhere. Proper home cooked. The whole experience was first class

Fantastic location and the accommodation was in the cottage next door which meant we had no bother from the pub. Room very comfortable and clean. Food good value and tasted good.

Portion sizes are huge and despite asking for smaller portions. This is my opinion and many others may feel differently . It just made me feel a bit wasteful.

Had a fair choice of breakfast, but you had to order it the day before.

We stayed at Carew Inn for 5 nights. The Inn is very cosy and has lovely views of Carew castle, Mill and river . The staff were so friendly and helpful. We had the upstairs room of the cottage next door to Inn and it was such a pretty room with oak beams and en-suite shower room. The bed was very comfy and it was very quiet in the evening. Breakfast was amazing and evening meals also good. Tenby and Saundersfoot a short drive away.

Can’t think of any negatives

Quirky! liked bedroom 2 upstairs in the cottage accommodation to the side of the Inn, well renovated. Nicely decorated & very clean. Good shower & comfy beds everything you needed. Pleasant helpful staff. Great breakfast & choices. Good location near the interesting Carew Castle. 15 mins to seaside & beaches.

Rear bear garden a bit basic & occasionally car park full!

Lovely breakfast, friendly staff. There is a mill pond with castle for a morning walk with the dog. Very busy restaurant so best to book. Serves fresh vegetables which is always a bonus. 10 minutes from Tenby, where parking is difficult. Gorgeous coastline and a good base for touring Pembrokeshire.

Die Matratze war durch und das Metallbett hat ständig Geräusche gemacht.

Quiet location. Great bar and food servings were ample and really good. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.
