The view from the living room and bedroom is 5 star.

It needs an overall maintenance and some refurbishments.

Full English Breakfast was sensational all the trimmings and yummy farmhouse sausages. Great setting overlooking the sea with views of the Isle of White Needles, very pleasant atmosphere.

The location was amazing, the staff on arrival were excellent. My room (Hurst) was spotless and of a very high standard (furniture, cleanliness, linen and towels). The restaurant overlooks the sea, I ate from the Sunset Bar menu and the food was ten out of ten. The quality of food and the service was excellent. The staff were extremely professional and a special mention to Jake who was very friendly and helpful.

Everything😊 lucky enough to stay in Penthouse which is amazing. Just love everything about this hidden gem. Food is fantastic and staff can't do enough. Looking forward to returning 😀 soon.

Great location with views out to sea during tasty breakfast. Comfortable bed. Air conditioning in room.

Overpriced, both for the room and evening dinner. Not surprised though as it was one of two places with rooms nearby. Other than the hotel there was one other place to eat which was super busy with a western music event. Dinner was poor with no priority for staying guest, got eye rolled at for asking if we could eat there, then it was very overpriced and the service was overbearing. The we found we could have eaten THE SAME FOOD at the little cafe next to the hotel (who they share a kitchen with) for a lot less. The bedroom was straight out weird. Firstly the windows were boarded over, so we could not see outside. They’d cladded the outside to make it look “pretty” but they’d not thought about the view out. Also there was a massive freestanding air conditioning unit in the room as well as a normal one on the wall. The freestanding one was very noisy, and we assumed the wall unit was broken. No, it functioned perfectly and was quiet. The bathroom didn’t have a shower, and was very restrictive as it was under a sloping ceiling. A couple of other things; TV was really small, and the bathroom smelt bad. For £160 a night, it definitely didn’t get even close to their 5-star rating. Expensive and decidedly odd, and not in a good way.

Breakfast was superb. Lovely restaurant and staff are very cheerful and polite.
