Lovely setting, friendly staff & very good food

Having a shower in the bath under the low ceiling is impossible.

The rooms are lovely and comfortable and spacious and very well heated. The breakfast selection is fantastic and my eggs Benedict cooked to perfection. The restaurant for evening dinner is superb also and staff very attentive and friendly. Have already booked again

Beautiful rooms with lovely decor. Lovely friendly staff, delicious food and great location. Perfect for a weekend away.

Absolutely loving setting overlooking the coastal view

Be honest , that I couldn’t find any faults only one small thing the staff was really busy and forgot to get our drinks with our breakfast, but all and all the staff were so so friendly and welcoming.

The staff were generally helpful and friendly, and made us feel welcome. We liked the atmosphere of the bar area and restaurant, which overlooks the sea. The food was pretty good, including the breakfast. We had been told in advance that there would be a singer in the restaurant that evening. He was extremely talented, we liked what he played and were impressed by his range and presentation - but there was a down-side to it, as mentioned below.

The room felt a bit basic and in need of brightening up. We were only there for one night, so it was okay, but it overlooked a car park and had the noise of the ventilators from the kitchen. We had asked for a particular bed, which was shown as an option online, but were advised in advance that it wasn't possible, so that was ok. While the singer at dinner was great, the volume was very high and the style of music didn't work for us to have a relaxed meal - although others seemed happy. Were it a separate event, we would have enjoyed it much more. Although the staff and food were good, the room, 'value for money' and the volume of music over dinner tipped me towards 'no' to meeting expectations, although more fairly it was somewhere between 'yes' and 'no'.

Beautiful setting, excellent refurbished room, incredible views, wonderful hospitality, delicious food, friendly and welcoming atmosphere!
