Thompson Arms is in a fab location for getting into York. The pub has a friendly feel and the owners go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay.

A lovely country pub with excellent facilities in a really nice village. Our room was a very generous size with ensuite. Everything was clean and well prepared. The owners made us feel at home and very welcome. We had a lovely breakfast.

Lovely pub! The owners were brilliant and so welcoming. Our rooms were very clean, spacious and extremely comfy. Fantastic breakfast in the morning too! Absolutely loved the owners little dogs as well.
