Thompsons Arms

The pub is conveniently situated in the village of Flaxton, a short drive from York. The road through the village is quiet and the pub has its own car park. The room was large with an ensuite. Breakfast is available at a very good price and was well cooked.

Shower was a little weak

Kind and helpful owners who put a lot of effort and pride into their business. They were really great to chat with and gave good tips on the area. Great location, near a park and ride, as well as a short drive to moors national park. The breakfast was really good and felt like a home cooked meal. The owners were also kind enough to let us use their laundry machines. They also have 5 beautiful dogs which they let us pat for as long as we wanted. This was great as we were missing our own dog back home.

It would be great if the shower could have more pressure.

The rooms were very comfortable. The breakfast was great value and lovely food. The locals are very welcoming and we would highly recommend
