The only thing that was poor was the shower very low water pressure because it was an electric shower

Really friendly owners - they were great when we left a valuable item behind and helped to get it back to us. Perfect location for getting to Hay-on-Wye - only 10 minutes by car.

Not a lot of food options in Glasbury but there is more choice in Hay-on-Wye.

Full of character and cosy. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was delicious and we chose to eat at the pub on both nights where the food was equally tasty. Lovely location. We had our little dog with us and the place is very dog friendly however the hotel is on a main road with narrow pavements so be mindful if you have a not so sedate furry friend. A 10 min drive to Hay on Wye if books are your thing, it was for us! All in all a lovely place that we will, without doubt, return to.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed. There was plenty of food at breakfast, the full English was lovely as well as the poached eggs on toast. And the pub itself is very nice, with local drinks, darts board, outdoor seating a good food.

The shower temperature on the last day slightly fluctuated, and then stopped momentarily. However nothing major.
