Great rooms over a pub, with vintage furnishings. comfortable beds, friendly hosts. Really good breakfast with vegetarian options.

Great location, superb staff and great value for money.

Beds were fine- perhaps be a little more comfy (mattress) but this is personal preference.

Location perfect for watersports on the wye river (wye valley canoes starting point in walking distance) and exploring Hay-on-Wye. Rooms very clean and comfy. Lovely staff and breakfast was excellent

There were rust marks on both our pillowcases and a newspaper left under my bed from a previous guest. The shower temperature was inconsistent hot/cold this could be possible user error, but water pressure dropped in and out regardless. We purposely booked the rooms at back of the pub to avoid road noise however there turned out to be a very loud open mic night directly under our bedroom until late which made sleeping very difficult and we had an early start the following day.

Clean and comfortable room, excellent breakfast, only criticism, no light in the bathroom
