lovely, old pub with lots of character the staff and food were amazing

on arrival the pub from the outside looks like it needs a paint dont let that put you off , once inside the atmosphere and character is fab

East to park, dog friendly, comfortable room, clean, warm & friendly staff & lovely food.

Close to the road but not enough to bother us.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating as soon as we arrived. Room was great for what we needed, nice and clean with spotless white sheets. Tea and coffee were provided, king-size bed was comfortable. We didn't hear any noise at all from the bar or kitchen and slept well. Breakfast was lovely the next morning, all cooled fresh and tasted great. Would book again.

Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very nice. Room was well sized and the place was very clean.

When we arrived there was so much noise that the walls were shaking. Luckily we only needed to stop for the night on the way and since we arrived around 11pm, we only had to put up with it for half an hour. However even after the band stopped and the pub closed, there was some music being played somewhere. Luckily I managed to fall asleep with a help of a sleeping pill.
