De cottage had een heerlijke douche en alles wat je nodig had was er. Dichtbij mooi strand en langs de NC 500 route.

Toen we aankwamen, lagen er hondendrollen in de tuin. Het huisje zelf was niet zo schoon. Er lagen nog kruimels in de woonkamer en je moest niet in bepaalde hoekjes zoals achter de tv kijken. Het beddengoed was gepild. De bank zat slecht. Met name de hoge prijs die we betaalden (245€) stond niet in verhouding tot wat je daar voor kreeg. Dan verwacht je meer. Maar waarschijnlijk was de prijs zo hoog vanwege het lage aanbod in deze buurt en de populaire route.

Great location, a short stroll away from beautiful Farr Bay and even closer to an excellent small museum, much about the inhuman clearances.

The old pub is closed and so no evening meal available. But a good hotel / pub / restaurant is a couple of miles away in Bettyhill.

Excellent breakfast

If would have been nice to meet someone on arrival - felt a bit impersonal. When we found out more about the situation we could understand the reason for the system.

Comfy bed and lovely breakfast, this made up for the negatives.

Poor WiFi, wouldn’t usually be an issue but planning for the following day for the nc500 was difficult.
