I was planning on having an early night at around 8 pm but to my surprise, I saw a bed bug walking across the pillow. Then I saw two more. Good thing I’m only staying one night and may have to find some other place to sleep for today. The check in process was a bit messy as well. There was a group of 3 people who came in around the same time I did, they waited and got their room number. But I still waited almost an hour more to get my room number. I initially got a room that was being used? I brought it up and then told to go to another one. So that is good…And Now the bed bugs. It would be nice to have at least 1 person come in throughout the day. I understand the concept of “no reception” as I’ve stayed in places like that before but they’ve always gone smoothly. This one, however, has not .

Great and helpful staff. Location pristine. Affordable hostel. Free coffee and tea. Clean shared bathroom.

There were bedbugs in the bunkbed. The check-in response via WhatsApp wasn't optimal and I wasn't sure what to do prior to arrival. The fan in the room was not working and it was very hot, at night there was no staff visible to ask for another fan.

So clean and very easy going guests and staff

Only thing I would have liked was a mirror in my room - otherwise perfect!

The rooms and the great communication, it was in front of a very pretty and clean park

Maybe a small kitchen would help and coffee and water would finish fast and it took a long time for refill

The room was so small

Excellent location, with supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants and bars nearby. Internet was stable apart from one day we didn't have internet for a few hours. We stayed in a very spacious double room. The balcony was my favourite spot to work. The winter garden is also lovely. In general, beautiful spacious house. Good spot for remote work.

The blasting music from the coffee shop next door before 7 am on Wednesday and Saturday was one of the downsides. No daily housekeeping service in the rooms. The check-in was not smooth and took more than expected, thankfully the staff at the house put some pressure and sped it up. Less dining/working areas than the ones displayed in the photos. No AC and the fan is very loud to keep it working during the night. It would be perfect with a shared kitchen to prepare small meals. Since there is no shared kitchen, at least a mini-fridge to keep some fresh water would also be ok. Got a few mosquito bites on the first night, and managed to sort it out with some anti-mosquito electrical thing for the next night.
