The Woolpack Inn Warehorne

A wonderful Olde worlde pub in a quiet and peaceful location. The staff were most welcoming and friendly. I stayed in the Eaves, my window was the small one on the left of the roof....my room was called Noddy which was appropriate. The bed was incredibly comfy and so much attention to detail and additional extras have been added. An excellent breakfast menu with several options available. I had the full English breakfast and a lovely latte, all included. The breakfast was perfectly cooked. Bar prices are reasonable too. The dining area is beautifully set out, really attractive. Personally I thought the dinner menu was top end pricing but other reviews say how good the food is.

The staircases are quirky, lovely but with wooden floorboards and the turns, my elderly hound really struggled and ended up falling downstairs....after that, I was lugging a 14 kilo hound up and down! Not easy. I would stay here again without her or request a room lower down. There are fans in Noddy but I suspect on hot summer days it must get stuffy. Parking - the pub has its own car park but it is pretty small. Lots of people were parked on the road which is quiet but could be a factor if you are concerned about your car. It didn't bother me but there is a Church opposite with a graveyard. I suppose that might bother some.

Breakfast and dinner were great, room very quirky, wooden floors, lots of great touches. Loved the teapot in the room! location is good, you overlook the fields. Parking at the back of the inn. The inn has a great outside space at the front to eat and drink in the sunshine.

It was noisy downstairs and you could hear it upstairs in our room, so it was not quiet. Earplugs were provided in the room. The bathroom had a stand alone bath (it looked great!) but it meant that you had to shower sitting in the bath. I didn't mind it but my husband did not. The shower head was new and good, water nice and hot, bath big size.

Lovely warm welcome. Wonderfully comfortable bed. Outstanding food. Friendly atmosphere.

The rooms are so well decorated and quirky. I had staid there before and was so impressed that I decided to surprise my sister.. My sister and her husband absolutely loved it and the staff were super accommodating helping me make the surprise and their stay amazing.
