Please note on Sundays check-in is only from 14:00 until 20:00. Restaurant opening times: Monday- Saturday 12-3pm; 6pm-9pm Sunday: 6 pm- 3 pm Bank holidays opening times may vary. The restaurant requires booking in advance. Please call the property when you book. The bar is open: Monday, Tuesday, 12pm - 10:30pm Wednesday - Saturday: 12pm - 11pm Sunday: 12pm - 8pm Dogs may be accommodated at the property for an additional fee of GBP 20 per dog stay. This is subject to availability and guests must inquire with the property when booking. If you are booking to stay during a special event like the Goodwood Members Meeting, Goodwood Glorious, Goodwood Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival then please note a nonrefundable deposit or full payment may be required to secure your reservation. Payment will be taken in the time of the booking. Nonrefundable, no transferable, no cancelable Breakfast is served between 8 am and 9:15am Please note on Sunday's check in is only from 3pm till 7pmPlease inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. "Lovely Gastro pub with great rooms."

We were travelling with our dog and had a fabulous dog friendly room. Nice and quiet in a separate building behind the restaurant & bar. The breakfast was super lovely but we were in such a hurry we didn’t have chance to eat it. Only a quick bite and then dash off. Felt terrible to leave all that food.

Regrettably there was no parking when we arrived but the staff quickly sorted us out and then there was no problem.

It’s always been a part of old England, although it has moved with the times, it retains all of its charm and personality. Great place to stay.

The model of what a country pub with Roos should be like. Wonderful helpful friendly staff, very very good food and wine in delightful restaurant. Very good rural location.

One of the nicest places we’ve stayed at for ages. It was spotlessly clean, the bedroom was modern and comfortable with a brand new bathroom, the food was delicious, the restaurant and outdoor garden were lovely and the staff were fantastic. It couldn’t have been better.

"I think they were too busy and short staffed"

It was clean. Good location

Owners need to check rooms before people stay. Main lightbulb wasn’t working. Toilet seat bolt was so loose that the seat kept moving. Just little things that Ned checking first

"A charming small hotel with an exceptional restaurant"

Very friendly atmosphere staff that were really hard working and attentive, peaceful nights sleep and exceptional food and service in the restaurant. A lovely place in the countryside perfect for exploring the South Downs and lovely local vineyards.
