Plitvica River House

De vriendelijkheid en de ligging van de locatie. We zijn super goed geholpen door de eigenaars, zowel voor tips rond ons bezoek aan Plitvice als tips voor ons volgend verblijf in Zadar. Ook het eten was heel lekker! 10/10 would recommend.

Ubytování se nachází v klidné lokalitě, blízko vstupu do parku. Pan majitel se nám věnoval, dal tipy na další výlety.

Ante was absolutely incredible. Such a great host and cook! From the moment we entered he was so helpful and made our stay much more pleasant. Highly recommended. There was also a bonus short walk to the lakes and a secret hidden view ten minutes away where you could see the big waterfall and the surrounding lakes without the crowds.

If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Plitvice then stay here. Ante (the host) goes to significant effort to ensure you get the best experience of Plitvice possible. This includes tips on how best to navigate the park, which was invaluable to avoid waiting and crowds. The dinner itself was the best meal we had in Croatia. The room felt luxurious and had all the necessities. The communication via booking dot com was excellent.

There was some bill shock from meals at the end unless you ask the prices in advance. We reflected on this and for what is prepared for you (high quality 3 course meal + alcohol and with personal attention) it is quite good value. It did add up more than expected though so would have been useful to see the prices first.

Schöne Lage, große Zimmer und Bad, wenig weitere Zimmer (insgesamt 6), Parkplatz vor der Tür, super herzliche Begrüßung, tolle Tipps für den Park, Abendessen unbedingt buchen - der Chef kocht selbst mega gut.

The host made the experience so memorable from the second we walked in. He was very friendly and welcoming. He cooked us a wonderful fresh dinner and the house is totally spotless - probably the cleaner than any hotel. Highly recommend. Keep in touch with the hosts prior to your trip as they will give you little tips to make your trip to the lakes easier.

Great location near one of the quieter entrances to the National Park. Very welcoming and attentive host who gave top tips on how to see the park at its best and avoiding the crowds where possible. The food in the restaurant is excellent, local and organic.

Tony and Lucy were amazing. They were kind, generous, gave us great suggestions. And… you can’t beat Tony’s cooking! It was incredible!
