Hotel Des Alpes

Tolle Unterkunft. Unkompliziert. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Motorradgruppe war willkommen.

Nichts

Ein sehr netter Empfang und der Hotelangestellte ist sofort rausgeeilt und hat uns den Weg zur hoteleigenen Tiefgarage gezeigt, weil der nicht so einfach zu finden ist. Das war schon mal top. Das Zimmer ist sauber und zweckmässig, man liegt wesentlich ruhiger auf der strassenabgewandten Seite. Das Abendessen und das Frühstück haben wir bei unserer Übernachtung im Juni im Hotel genommen, beides war sehr gut und ist zu empfehlen. Die Chefin ist sehr aufmerksam und man merkt, dass es den Gästen gut gehen soll. War auch so!

We didn’t stay at the hotel but were unfortunate enough to have dinner there as part of our halfboard at STS Alpine Travels. As we arrived in the first evening, the main waitress did not greet us welcome but shouted at us when we didn’t respond immediately to whatever she said. Curiously enough, she could be quite nice sometimes only to be very nasty the next moment. The food…We had the feeling that since we had prepaid everything, the only ambition of the restaurant was to feed us and not to make the dinner a pleasant experience. They serve courses without any finesse at all. The chef and his/her staff have probably had their training in a school kitchen and should be anything but proud of their pathetic cooking. Don’t visit this restaurant, you’d be better off in a hamburger joint.
