Loved this place!!! Steeped in history really didn't want to leave. Will definitely stay again if we may. Tim is a wonderful host and Sues jams and breakfasts are wonderful!!!

Real Tudor Manor, the place is stunning and the owners lovely and attentive

Welcomed like a member of the family. Vast bedroom, with period furniture and four poster bed. Freedom to roam in the drawing room and grounds. Excellent cooked breakfast at a share family dining table. Like being in an Edwardian house party.

Lovely welcome from owner Tim. Building is ancient and lovely and like something from the 17th century. In a good way!

As on of the reviewer said — the owner is a legend! He welcomed us with so much warmth, showed us the incredible mansion (dating back to the 12th century!) and its grounds. Staying here feels like travel in time and return back to medieval England. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the bath was perfect after a long day. But the true highlight of this place has eight legs of pure love and grace waiting to welcome you! While I was admiring the property, my husband spent most of his time enjoying the company of Duke and Molly, two amazing dogs. You must visit this place. I dare say it was one of the absolute highlights of our trip!

The property is absolutely beautiful, and Tim, our host was very attentive and friendly. The breakfast was delicious with homemade muffins and jams as well as locally sourced eggs and meats.
