Long Crendon Manor B&B

The manor was stunning and so well maintained. Gardens were luvly.

The pool did not appear to be functional. Shame.

Very good breakfast which was cooked to order.

Idyllic location in a quiet and extremely beautiful little town. It seemed we were transported to another century as we entered the manor. We stayed in a family room with two separate big bedrooms. The rooms were comfortable with high sealings. Also the bathroom was very spacious and nice with a window overlooking the courtyard. Breakfast was excellent! Thank you for the unforgettable stay!

We liked everything! Just as a suggestion, you could offer the possibility to have a drink in the drawing room/garden or maybe afternoon tea!

Tim and Sue were exceptional hosts, and the manor and grounds were delightful. We had a great experience stepping back in time for a few nights and would highly recommend it

Such a privilege to stay in this 12th century manor house. We were made to feel at home. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have experienced. The breakfast was superb.

Tim is a very nice host who knows his B & B business inside out. He was very welcoming and the Yellow room was a perfect choice for our two night stay. The Manor and grounds, needless to say, were impressive and amazing. The setting is very quiet and relaxing and we would highly recommend it to other Travellers.

We had just 3 little “gripes” which we mention below - only to assist the future experience and comfort of other Guests at the Manor. We found the bathroom towels not as soft as we might have expected - rather they were quite rough and unpleasant to use (needed 5 minutes in a Tumble Dryer after they had been dried to soften them up). The toilet seat kept falling down before you could use the toilet. The Internet connection was very POOR (almost as to be unusable and intermittent). Needs some Wi-Fi “boosters” to allow the signal to work its way round the building’s thick and solid structures. Whilst not an absolute “must” for us - we did find this situation quite frustrating when all we wanted to do was simply check” everyday routine tasks such as emails and texts.

Excellent breakfast fry back bacon lovely sausages from the local farm, egg. Tomatoes and mushrooms. Homemade raspberry jam marmalade with ginger with lovely crispy toast. Loved the history of the place and the interesting bits we were told about it.It So much nicer than staying in a modern hotel.

It was all excellent, the only thing I found difficult were the old stairs , they were so steep. I think this could stop some old people from staying
