"A beautiful and charming place to stay. I hope next time we can actually spend more time there."

Having stayed here before, we knew what to expect. We loved the location and character of the place. We had a brief opportunity to explore the grounds before checking out, which are beautiful. Unfortunately we didn't make it to breakfast but know it to be excellent from last time.

Due to the fact that only family suites were available when we booked, it worked out expensive as we only used the one bed but it was extremely comfortable. Also a great bathroom which we unfortunately didn't get time to enjoy. Check in time of 4 pm is quite late if you want to enjoy more of the place. We had a Birthday party to attend in the village which started at 2 pm so had to leave that for a while in order to check in.

"Unique experience - superb in every way!"

We were looking for somewhere to celebrate my wife’s birthday and this place was ideal. The house is steeped in history, and we had access to the drawing room, hall and gardens. Stayed in the yellow room, which was very comfortable and enormous, with large bed and seating area, separate dressing room and bathroom with shower. Hosts (and dogs) were very friendly, and breakfast was excellent. Easy short walk to pubs/ restaurants – we had good meals at the Angel and Churchill Arms. Long Crendon itself is very pretty with many thatched cottages and good walks nearby. Highly Recommended!

"A really good period house experience"

Jacobean? Manor House with all of the expected idiosyncracies. WiFi, Quiet. Plenty of parking space

Nothing I didn't like. Be aware this is not a hotel, so check in time should always be pre arranged with the hosts because they are not there 100% of the time,

Tim was an excellent host, very attentive and friendly. He set us up on a table outside the first evening so we could enjoy the company of friends. The breakfast was SO GOOD I'm going to miss it tomorrow morning. The dogs are adorable.

The towels and robes are rather stiff but that's really the only thing
