Tim was an excellent host and made us feel very comfortable in the house. Breakfast was also excellent thanks to Sue.

A few cobwebs. But it is 700 to 800 years old so can’t complain.

Tim is a very welcoming host. The Manor House is beautiful, quirky and lived in but all the better for it. No stuffiness here! The room was large and comfortable and breakfast was amazing!

The owners were great people. The compound was very interesting. Very comfy bed.

The WiFi did not work in our part of the manor, but worked elsewhere.

Breakfast was excellent, cereal, yogurt with a wonderful homemade compote! Toast with all kinds of jam and homemade jams as well. Choice of hot breakfast, full English, scrambled eggs with salmon or avocado with poached eggs excellent.

I found the bed quite hard but a mattress topper would have helped with this, my friend found the bed very comfortable so it’s just personal choice.

Host, food and location ideal.

Room was lovely but had a full waste paper bin when we arrived and throughout. Carpets did not appear to have been cleaned daily. Poor internet connection.

Both breakfast and location were excellent.

The one thing that would improve the room we had would be a door, rather than just a bit of curtain, between the bedroom and the shower room/toilet.

Exceptional host, went out of his way to make us feel welcome and even lent me a jacket for the evening when I had forgotten to bring my own. Excellent breakfast with fresh quality products
