Very spacious room and extremely comfortable bed. Well proportioned room. Excellent for cleanliness.

Used to live in the area so knew roughly what to expect from this pub. Convenient location, room was clean and adequate for a night's stay. Reasonable price for the area. It was a good night's sleep.

It wasn't the best welcome, meet and greet was rushed, it didn't really feel like they were paying attention and just seemed to want to us shown at lightening speed so they could go. Brisque sums it up. Not rude just rushed and impersonal.

Very clean rooms ..I had an idea of what we would get ..To be fair I was expecting "fairly good to good" but it exceeded my expectations.Rooms were very nice (modern decor,clean and well appointed ) Overall for the price being charged which was excellent value for money I'd say it was a Very good stay... I have given it a 10 for sure there are better hotels in the world but I'm giving it this score in terms of expectations against what I would expect from a hotel at the price it charges .

Bit noisy out the front but it's in the middle of a town so it will be .

It was clean, tidy and welcoming.

There was some confusion about the check in process but resolved. Staff informed me on the phone three days prior that the sausages weren’t gluten free and then I double checked on the day and was given the allergy list to which I found out they were gluten free. Staff really need to know these things. As my choice of food would have been different

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and both the room and bathroom were luxuriously large. Despite the rooms being above the pub, it was quiet at night and the beds were very comfortable. Although it was quite warm when we visited, there was a fan in the room and the window opened to let in fresh air, so it wasn't too uncomfortable. It very much felt more like a home away from home than a hotel or pub. It is centrally located in Glossop and just a few steps from shopping and a variety of eateries. The staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant.

The parking is limited if you arrive via car, as their lot is quite small. However, we only had to find alternative parking for a couple of hours when we first arrived. The other 3 days there was space.
