Room was very small so had no room to move around the bed. Breakfast start time 9am too late for me as had to get on the SW coast path for long walks both days

This is our third stay here. The room we were given this time was very small. They said they had had a refurb. No wardrobe to hang things, just a kind of coat rack but could not hang a dress up as not long enough. No bedside table, just a tiny shelf. Bed a small double. Shower room tiny with tiny sink. Shower door very difficult to open when getting out, had to have slightly open .. Room looked nice but too small for 2 people, we are not large people either! We would need a bigger room if we were to stay again..
CAGBLovely pub with modern comfortable rooms. Excellent location in the heart of Padstow and convenient for hiking the South West Coast path. I would happily stay here again.

The girl behind the bar/reception was extremely rude and unfriendly. Put me off ordering the scallops at dinner. Asked if I’d paid to stay! Didn’t greet me when I checked out and didn’t ask if I’d enjoyed my stay nor wish me a safe journey home. No instructions for the tv and could not get normal channels. No glass for bathroom, only gin glasses which were awkward to fill with water in the sink. No bottled water.
