Valley Bar

Great location for both the town centre and to the beach front, so no need for the car. Single room was a decent size and unexpectedly quiet for being above a pub. Bed was comfy. The bar staff who checked me in was friendly.

Room is in need of some maintenance. Curtains are hanging off the rail, toilet seat is broken and the bathroom was cold, aerial for TV has no end on so you have to push the copper wire direct into the back of the TV, if you can get past the thick layer of dust! Room was cold as the radiator didn't come on and the windoframe is so old the condensation was horrendous. I wouldn't stay there again.

Not a major neg- some parts a little shabby if you were being picky… hubby didnt like walking thru bar ( but is a side exit entrance for after hours or early morn before bar opens…

room was very clean and beds nice. Slept well

Needed a quick cheaper stay over staff were amazing!

The staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay, even when we had a slight problem occur and had to change rooms they were on it and sorted it with no fuss for us. This pub/guest house is really great value too. Brilliant location and 2 day parking £2.50 right outside obviously if space on street.

I really appreciate the stay so it isn't meant to be a negative and is what it is but this is purely feedback opinion... would benefit from little minor repairs around the rooms easy maintenance like shower and sink outlets cleaning, sealants/touch up painting etc This would just finish and bring a new fresh feel rather than well used but actually very clean rooms to stay in and comfortable beds. In both rooms we had kettles but really needed a good de-scale or replacement.

Absolutely filthy accommodation we took pictures and made the property aware that it was filthy the oven hadn't been cleaned in years! No toilet roll, bathroom filthy? Cupboards filthy. Do not stay !

Nice area,public transport close by,10 minutes into town.

A little bit noisy round about bar closing time,otherwise fine.
