Perfect room for a night away, food was very good and staff were lovely

Well situated in the heart of beautiful countryside, if you like hiking or just a nice stroll this place is perfect, the staff at the Percy arms are welcoming and very pleasant, we will definitely visit again

The locals around the bar area let you know they were locals, they took over the bar area and at one point a local customer had his dog laid flat out on the floor and you couldn’t get past to use the toilets, i know locals spend money and are there all year round not just a visitors like us but they need to have a little more respect for other paying visitors / customers, apart from the locals taking over this place is absolutely amazing

Lovely big bed, great shower and delicious breakfast.

Es ist genauso,wie man sich englisches Landgegend vorstellt.Es war gemütlich,viele einheimische waren im Restaurant.Personal sehr nett.Zimmer sehr geräumig.

Beautiful place, room was large and warm, beautiful furnishings and decoration. Huge bed, which was wonderfully comfortable with high quality bedding, additional blankets etc. Pub was lovely modern with a great selection of beers and wines. We had dinner one evening which was tasty. And the breakfast (go for the full English) was delicious and kept us going all day. The young lady who saw us in when we arrived and was around for breakfast on the Sunday morning was so lovely and helpful. (We didn't catch her name) but all the staff were lovely to speak to.

We didn't get any toiletries or hand towels in the room. The shower was so powerful it came out the end of the shower tray so needed to use our towels in order to clean up. Left them in the bath but they weren't replaced when the room was cleaned. We had brought our own and I'm sure they would have been replaced had we asked.

Large, comfy bed. Large room with great bathroom. Breakfast was excellent

Room fabulous. Food in bar fantastic value and huge portions. Breakfast super good. Great stay. We will be back
