"Good location for a Coast to Coast stop off. I was well looked after."

Great location just off the Coast to Coast walking route. Ample breakfast and evening meal.

Possible update to decor in the bedroom, but it was comfortable and had a bath.

"Friendly, good value inn with great food options."

Very helpful staff. Room had 2 easy chairs. Shower over corner bath allowed choice. Excellent cooked breakfast. Spacious car park.

Woukd gave been nice to have option of yoghurt and pastries on the otherwise good selection on the buffet tabke at breakfast.

Very comfortable room with nice bath - just what is needed after a day on the hills! Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice. The staff were all very friendly and local so knew the area. We ate in one night; good, uncomplicated cooking washed down with real ale..
