single bed wasn't the most comfortable could be better

We have stayed at The Swan Hotel a few times and have to say all the staff are really friendly, they can't do enough for you. Great location and decent breakfast.

Towels are a bit thin, could do with some thicker ones

Really lovely and accommodating staff, delicious breakfast. The room was a little dated but still clean and great value.

The food was excellent both in the restaurant and the breakfast

Our stay at The Swan was delightful. A very warm welcome, a quiet, spacious room with comfy beds and an excellent “steak night” meal. Really good breakfast too.

Literally the only thing that we found to criticise was the tiny bath towels which didn’t dry very well.

Lovely room exceptionally clean. Bed, shower, toilet. Good breakfast lots of choice. Good car park at the back, free.

There was an electrical round thing on the ceiling. Probably something to do with a fire alarm. It had a light which in the night was focused on the bed by the pillow. I explained to the staff that maybe the bed or alarm could be moved. It was stopping me sleep as I like a dark room. The staff member said she would speak to the management.
