As we are closed Sunday evenings the last check in on a Sunday is 6pm unless extended by prior arrangement. No Christmas Day arrivals (All Christmas bookings must arrive Christmas Eve or before or on Boxing Day) As we are closed on Christmas Day a festive breakfast hamper will be delivered to your room late on Christmas Eve evening. A deposit may be required at the property.

Staff were very friendly, breakfast was really good, very fresh and good value

The room we stayed in needs some TLC, the room smelt damp when we first entered. The shower was full of mould, as were the window sills in both the bathroom and bedroom

The pub and the attached restaurant was ideal especially on a wet Autumn night .🤗🤗we had a very good stay breakfast and dinner were excellent

Self-checkin worked 100% on a Sunday evening, room ok comfy and warm. Central Lydney and handy for the Dean Forest Railway.

A desk / table to go with the chair would be a nice addition. Working on my laptop was a slight challenge.

The Staff went out of their way to be very helpful . Found the breakfast very enjoyable & enjoyed good quality Orange juice . TV easy to use Plenty of Tea ,Coffee & milk etc . I'm us to a firm mattress, but slept very well

Unfortunately disabled so found the stairs difficult . Would have liked a larger Shower & a shower mat Noticed when in bed twice ? Emergency spot lights one red ? one green ? But soon got off to sleepl Found the towels didn't dry you & the large could have been bath size .
