Churchills Inn & Rooms

Room was quiet, very clean and comfortable. The location of the Inn was perfect in Bowness and although it was rather hot in the room ( a UK heatwave ! ), the landlady went out personally and purchased us a fan immediately to make our stay more comfortable.

Kath can't do enough for you the staff were lovely too.The place doesnt do food but rooms are spacious and clean.Its situated next to bars, cafes,and about 100mtrs to lake Windermere. Bowness is lovely busy town at weekends. I would highly recommend a stay here 😎😀👍

There was no breakfast included in the price but we were directed to a very good eatery just yards away.

We didn't like leaving.

We were a family of 6 with 3 rooms and our stay was lovely..The rooms were bright and clean with bottled water and tea and coffee provided. The ensuite had everything you needed including shower gel, shampoo and towels. The actual location couldn't be better, being right in the midst of Bowness. And the best part for us was that it was extremely dog friendly and the landlady was so lovely and kind.

There wasn't anything we didn't like but a breakfast option would be nice even a continental type. Though there are plenty of cafes nearby to choose from. We can highly recommend Cafe N°4 just feet away, fantastic food.
