Great room, even better breakfast. Staff were super friendly.

Room good size, lovely and quiet. Comfy bed. Nothing to fault. Excellent staff. Perfect location.

Roast dinner could have been slightly hotter.

Breakfast doesn’t start until 9am, so I had to miss it. Very late for breakfast.

Centrally located, a snug and cosy pub. Great food

I had messaged the property about parking, didn't have a response and I was a little reluctant to book as there were double yellows at the front. There was ample street parking to the rear though, that I found post arrival. Some elements of the room needed a deep clean, such as the extractor fan in the bathroom ceiling, the windows and blind pulls. Stairs to room very narrow so some may struggle, but in keeping with age of pub. That being said, the staff were fabulous, the food was great, welcome was warm, the floors and surfaces were clean and the bed was so comfortable. Fresh crisp linen and fluffy towels. Beautiful, stylish room. The pub door underneath was noisy as people came and went, but as the pub closed at 10.30, didn't impede on sleep too much. Buckets of hot water in the bathroom, room well appointed. Room refreshed properly each day, which is becoming quite rare these days. Breakfast was amazing, from the welcome, the coffee and the food was just perfect. Would definitely go back.
