Griyatama Bungalow

Gede and his family were so welcoming and helpful! We wouldn’t have had the experience on Nusa Penida that we had without their help. They helped us to get around (since we weren’t adept at riding scooters, and the roads aren’t the most pedestrian friendly) and to book our excursions. Thanks so much again to Gede and his family for their wonderful hospitality.

Lovely accommodation, nice and cosy room run by a local family. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. The owners are very friendly, they can arrange transport for a good price. Not far away from the Crystal Bay Highly recommend it. :)

We loved the room and outdoor seating area, my husband loved the chair in the patio. We don't like their breakfast menu but their lunch & dinner is great, foods are delicious, must try their fruit salad. They even made a Balinese chicken congee for my breakfast per my request which isn't on the menu.

Hot water only last for 3 minutes, this was the deal breaker for me unfortunately, we loved there but I personally won't be back to stay because of that, I had a very long hair and 3 mins just won't cut it, I could barely finish washing my hair, I was so cold and wait for 15 mins still no hot water. So the second night I had to buy a bucket and water ladle but still not enough hot water.. even I run a pur hot water first into the bucket then waited for 10 minutes to start my shower, with that 3 mins shower + the warm water in the bucket, only allowed me to finish washing my hair. If we ever come back to Nusa penida, we'd be happy to come back to grab a bite but will not stay here again unless the hot water issue solved unfortunately.

Accommodation was nice and clean and good value for money. Restaurant had delicious food and drinks. What made the stay was the host and his brother. The host was very nice and we were able to organise transport and activities like snorkelling and sightseeing through him with his recommendations. He is so knowledgeable and a great communicator on whatsapp. We only had 2 days at nusa penida and he made sure we got the best experience. Thanks so much for letting us stay at your accommodation. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice experience at nusa penida.

super friendly owners, lovely bungalows, reasonably priced food

not specifically about the property (which is lovely) but the recommended driver for a Nusa Penida tour which we organised with the owner tried to rip us off during the tour at one of the locations by suggesting we needed to pay over double the going rate to enter which was a shame.

loved the place so much! bungalows were built by the family who runs it. its cozy, clean and very peaceful. They helped us organized everything for a great value, no hassle. they helped us with transports, tour and speedboat tickets. Gede is number 1. Hes very friendly and looks after us! they even get us some fresh coconut juice straight from the tree! breakfast was served everyday and if your order it really depends if you want it to be serve in your patio or in their little cafe. we had a good massage too and its available upon request. The people who runs the business was really nice and will help you with everything!!

The host set up all of our transportation to and from the ferry on both ends, set up our snorkel trip, and had a driver for us within minutes if we requested one to see the island. He added it to our bill at the end of our stay. Made it super stress free for us. The bungalow was well designed and comfortable. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and thoughtfully landscaped. The only thing missing was a bottle opener for the beers in the refrigerator and we laughed about that with Gede. The beach is not within walking distance. The bungalows are remote in regards to needing a scooter or a driver to get anywhere. We ate one night at the restaurant there and it was good and we ate another night at the waring next door which was also good. This is a small family run place with only 4 bungalows and they're have a lot of pride in it as they should.

Some other reviews led me to believe we could walk to the beach. Maybe I just misread
