Griyatama Bungalow

Perfect stay, excellent staff. Gede and his uncle were amazing. Helped you with everything and the food is simple and delicious!!! The uncle is a great chef, breakfast aswel as diner amazing!

Nothing I didn’t like. You will need a scooter for the location, but you’ll need a scooter for everything on the island.

The property is beautiful! You overlook a jungle ravine, and you're only a 5-minute scooter ride from the famous Crystal Bay! The bungalows are well thought out, and you can tell they were built with the customer’s comfort in mind. They are so cozy and comfortable; I wouldn't change a thing! Also, the food and drinks at the restaurant are phenomenal. It's for sure my favorite warung in Penida, and I visited quite a few during my extended stay. Lastly, the family is EXCEPTIONAL! Gede and Kadek are my second family at this point. Embrace every second and stay here; you won't regret it! I wish I could stay there forever.

We had the most amazing time in Griyatama. First of all we had all the help from Bayu with tickets and taxis getting and leaving from there that saves you lots of time, effort and money. The bungalows are very nice with a great view to the forest in front. The garden is very well kept even to the smallest detail. Breakfast and lunch at the restaurant also excellent, made with local products, many of those from the garden in front. Last night there we were invited on the most delicious barbeque with chicken from the garden and fish that were fished the same morning. A great experience over all.

A beautiful property, with thought out interiors. Easy to rent scooters which is essential for travelling to the island’s top sights. The best part was the owners as they were so kind and approachable. They taught us about Balinese culture whilst also having a great sense of humour. I’d highly recommend this stay and would come back if on nusa penida again.

relatively thin walls which was not a problem most of the time due to the rural environment, but if the warungs got busy it was a bit noisy. nothing that would put me off though.

Possibly the case in all of Penida but transport is difficult and expensive and the roads are poor. Not the accommodations fault but is an issue.

This accommodation has it all! It is really lovely bungalows that owners built them by themselves. It is brand new and really clean. You will feel like a home. Gedi is the best host we experienced during our whole stay in Bali. This accommodation is even better than some 5stars hotels we have been to. Gedi and his effort to feel us like at home is priceless - really something what is hard to describe in words, you just have to experience it. They also have a family run restaurant and the food is so delicious! We ate just there. At the end of our stay, my girlfriend felt sick and Gedi took really great care of her. He even brought her yellow coconuts to feel better. When in Nusa Penida I would definitely recommend to stay here. Gedi, my friend, we will be back seeing you and your lovely family.
