Lia Jaya Bungalows

We loved our stay here, wish we could have stayed longer! Stunning location on the beach, very cute bungalows with comfortable bed and outdoor bathroom. The staff were super friendly and incredibly helpful. Organised bikes for us to hire and had our laundry done for us, also organised us a private boat transfer to Gili Air where we were picked up right on the beach, so convenient!! We also highly recommend the Blue Carol Warung out the front on the beach. Very good value, delicious food and drinks. Short distant to other bars and restaurants. We will definitely be back to stay in the future.

The bungalow was clean ( when I arrived the whole room and the sheets smelt really good ), the shower was spacious and the staff was really nice

Liars and thieves. I have waited 2 weeks to post this review in hopes that the owner would do what was right. The nasty dark bungalow is NOT beachfront but instead tucked 200 meters away in a no air movement corner with a billion mosquitos. Before arriving I had contacted them at least 4x with no response and had to go through booking customer service to verify they could provide a mosquito net. This was of prime importance and it's a dengue area and I've already had it. After several attempts booking got a hold of the owner who confirmed they would have it in place for me. Being beachfront it would have a breeze as well. I book a 3 night stay and then a 5 night back to back in case I didn't like it. Unfortunately on arrival it was so much worse than I could have imagined. When they showed me to the room I said thjs isn't beachfront and there is no breeze. I don't think I can stay here but as it was late said I would stay overnight. When they left me at the door that was the last time anyone helped me. I went to get the bed ready as the net was tied up to.find it was a single bed net that didn't even fit the bed. There was noone around to help and I had to sleep in a ball in the middle to just get through the night It is mosquito infested, smells and has no airflow. I told the front desk early morning I could not stay could they accommodate me in the Blue Coral that is owned by the same people. I was told no and that the owner had left for lombok. I was on my own. I found a place thankfully on the other side of the island that was okay. I cancelled the 5 night stay and also checked out at 10 a.m. stating I would be okay with paying one night I had slept there (even though it was AWFUL) but as everything was documented I wanted the 2 nights returned to my card and the cancellation fee for the 2nd booking waived. Since then booking has tried to fix this repeatedly on my behalf. I have personally gone there 4x to be lied to and ignored.

The location is great. Quiet place. Right on the beach! The team can’t get any better than that! Great people! They can arrange everything you need for you for a very reasonable price!

Nice and quiet and on the beach front.

The only place we have stayed in Indonesia which didn't supply free water. We have stayed in lots of places islands and mainland and we always have had access to water. Breakfast was poor omelette only, no toast, no fresh fruit or juice unless you paid extra. Considering this isn't the cheapest place we stayed we were not impressed

Most amazing family who owns the bungalows, really looked after us. Knew us by name and couldn’t do enough for us. Right by the beach (bit further from the harbour, cca 20 mins). We had a good priced snorkeling trip with them which we loved. Food in their restaurant is great. Good value!

Honestly so many mosquitoes which we know is unavoidable however the net in the bed needs to be attached to the corners. We couldn’t sleep because we slept in the middle of the bed as the net took all the space and kept undoing itself. Just a recommendation

I was meant to stay a week and extended of another 8 days. My stay was great, staff was friendly and attentive and became like a second family. The bungalows are on the more quiet side of the island which I absolutely loved. WIFI worked well. Room was cosy and 20 steps from the shore. I will be back :)

Very friendly staff who arranged a nice tour for us. Great meals,too.
