Lia Jaya Bungalows

Beautiful location right on the beach and at the northern tip so handy for sunrise and sunset. Staff were also lovely and the pancakes for breakfast were great.

A bit of a walk from the port but manageable

The family running this bungalow and restaurant were outstanding.. they are generous and attentive. With a very nice breakfast included. Every morning you can watch the sunrise and walk 10 mins to see some of the most beautiful sunsets ever. A quiet gem, tucked away in the back of the property, in your own beautiful garden. A great place for families as you can rent both bungalows and have the back garden to yourself. Would definitely come back.

it was not very clean. The room was full of cockroches. In fact we did not use the bathroom as it was infested. I am sure this is common if you live in a bungalow in an island, but in this case I think the issue was that the floor drain had been left uncovered, hence all came out from the pipes. Water was cold. The pictures in Booking can also be a bit misleading...

We love this place! Lia and her family are so welcoming and friendly. The bungalow is 30 sec from the beach, which is quite nice because you have privacy and shade. There is an A/C, which is also big plus and also mosquito net. The bathroom was also nice, everything was clean - I saw in other reviews that someone complained that leaves fall down through partially open roof, but we liked it because you have fresh air there. Breakfast was nice at the beach (this 30sec) in their restaurant. Also, what we really liked was that you could refill water there so you don't have to buy plastic bottles.

Some people complained that you couldn't choose coffee for breakfast, just juice. Maybe it would be cool to have the option, but we loved the juice in the morning.

Not even one minute from the beautiful seaside

Close to the clean beach, every time I swam i saw turtles, away from Gili T noise.

We booked 4 nights and left after 2 nights... Seems the villas offered have different brothers who own them, sadly the two villas shown are very very basic, situated behind the kitchen, they lack a fan, fridge, kettle, wardrobe..the bed wasn't very comfortable. Upon arrival we were greeted by a cockroach on the bed. For 2 days we suffered the alarm sounding from a nearby private villa. No hot water in shower, the steps down to the bathroom may cause elderly folk a problem as they are very slippery. Basic breakfast choice. Only 2 sun lounges were available on beach, one was broken, 2 "onion" type lounges were available. No other villas available so we moved to Seri Resort. Staff friendly, WiFi only worked whilst in villa, for the beach front/ restaurant area its a seperate wifi which we weren't allowed to use! Staff slow at responding to emails, did so day after we left! Villas are cheap and more suited to a budget or woke/hippie style traveller.

We planned to stay 4 nights but we extended 2 more nights because the place is amazing. It's a little far from the harbor but it's for the best if you need calm. The beach in front of the homestay offers white soft sand and "cocoon" beds. The family staff was very nice and kind. There was a restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the food was very good. Also the bungalow was spacious and had a powerful wifi.

The bathroom had cold water and was only half covered, there were many leaves falling inside as well as many mosquitos. No desk in the room. No wifi in the reception and breakfast place.

Staff was very very nice! Restaurant is good with nice prices (lower than the rest of the island). Very nice beach 20 meters from the door. We enjoyed a lot!

No hot water in the shower. Shower & bathroom is could be close but a bit open which makes it full with leaves and bugs, and mosquitoes are welcome in.
