The staff were polite, friendly and very welcoming on arrival. Our room was clean, well appointed and comfortable. The location ideal. The landlady & her Mum were super. We couldn't have wanted for a better pub stay in a Cornish fishing village. Thankyou so much.

"Rest your head like others have for 500+ years!"

Beautiful building with a charming bar and cozy atmosphere. Room was clean, comfortable and a good amount of space. Unique experience to stay somewhere that has welcomed people for 500+ years! We had a room with two single beds and the linen was soft and cozy. For an old building it had a good temperature. Quieter than expected. Lovely breakfast with a lot of attention to detail.

The shower was a little fiddly to get the water temp just right, so in time that could be a good update.
