1. Parking space was a bit small. I don't think we would've had parking space if it was peak season. 2. We noticed that the front desk was always empty. Only noticed a staff like 3 times during our entire stay (Check-in, 1 random run to the store and check-out).

I appreciate this guest house has some good reviews, but for me personally, it was just about adequate, I was in a party of 5 motorcyclists, and we drew straws on the rooms. Unfortunately I ended up with the shortest straw and had the most basic room, which was devoid of even hot water for the shower. The room was clean, and had good a/c, but that was about it. Some of our party did get hot water, so it seems like you need to check which room you book if a heated shower is important to you. But that wasn't just my only issue - the hotel sits amongst private houses where there is the continual noise of barking dogs, and crowing chickens. Some rooms may suffer more than most but mine was one of the worst, and I got no sleep from 4am onward, once the cockerel kicked off. The Pension house is obviously run by a family so my comments might hit hard and no offence meant, but I review honestly. Ending on a good note, although the room had no kettle, hot water was available in reception. It was also nice that the owner was kind enough to provide the use of a garage for our motorcycles overnight. For the evening, there is not much in the immediate area, but we walked about 15 mins to a restaurant called Yellowfin which provided for quite a lively night. This may be a good choice for backpackers and the like, but as older travellers, I'm afraid we like our creature comforts.
