Frühstück war gut und ausreichend. Die Lage war gut für uns. Die Nachtessen und das Restaurant waren ausgezeichnet. Der traditionelle Styl des Gasthauses hat uns gefallen.

We had a wonderful time at Gasthaus Engel. Our room was modern and beautifully refurbished while the building retains its charm. It is also a short drive away from Luzern, Pilatus and many hiking routes in the Entlebuch UNESCO Biosphäre. Our hosts were super friendly and helpful with everything, we will definitely return.

The food in the restaurant was excellent. Quality fittings in bedroom and bathroom. A beautiful 400 year old building. Staff very friendly and attention to detail was exceptional.

Church across the road - clock chimed every quarter hour - I would advise the use of the earplugs kindly supplied by the owners.
