Friendly welcome. Exceptionally clean bedroom and bathroom ( bath and over-bath shower) Nicely furnished with a comfy bed and good bedding. Very good value for money.

The lighting needs a boost - very tasteful but difficult to read after dark. The room has two windows so nice and bright by day but some nets or blinds would have given the option for more privacy at times, given the proximity of the road and nearby park. Closing the curtains seemed a bit over the top but necessary when changing.

Owner was friendly, comfortable bed so got a good night's sleep. Room was very clean.

No breakfast included. Would benefit from window blinds as side aspect overlooks a play park and front overlooks main road and houses. Kettle needs de-scaling. Limited parking as some reason the carpark appears to have been used as a beer garden with tables and benches set out.

Room was nice, clean, quiet and comfortable.

Lots of steep stairs to lug cases up which would have been problematic for some. No offer of breakfast on arrival and no sign of a breakfast service in the morning.

Welcome and choice of beer. R moms were clean and tidy

Had booked a meal for 5 people for 7:30. The pub decided the previous week not to do food but neglected to tell us.
